The Bridle Path is an exclusive neighbourhood in the north part of Toronto. It is known for its large mansions sitting on even larger lots. The large lots in the Bridle Path also mean that residents are able to build their dream houses. While most Bridle Path homes were constructed between the 1930’s and the 1960’s, they provide a wide variety of architectural styles and many older homes have been demolished with much larger custom homes developed instead.

These properties usually have beautiful manicured gardens and gated entries. Bridle Path is one of the few neighbourhoods that is referred to as millionaires row. This neighbourhood is considered to be one of the wealthiest neighbourhoods in Canada!  not only has it’s luxurious setting and its proximity to downtown, but the seclusion and privacy that owners require.

Sunnybrook Health Science Centres borders Bridle Path on the south; Bayview Avenue is the western border, while Wicket Creek is the eastern border. There aren’t many roads that pass through this neighbourhood which gives it more of that exclusive feel. The neighbourhood itself is covered by a lot of greenery which gives residence more privacy.

York Mills Shopping Plaza is a popular area for the residents of the Bridle Path to frequent. The Granite Club which is located just outside Bridle Path is also a popular hot spot for the neighbourhood’s elite. Families in Bridle Path tend to send their children to The Crescent School for boys and The Toronto French School. Several exclusive and expensive clubs, including the Bayview Country Club and the Granite Club, take advantage both of the natural greenery and of the residential exclusivity. 

The Bridle Path has many parks in the area; one of them being the Edwards Gardens Park, this park is home to the Toronto Botanical Gardens. This park is the beginning of a trail that runs all the way through the Don River Valley. Sunnybrook Park is right outside Bridle Path, this great park has an area for cricket, field hockey, rugby and soccer.
